Powell River Community Foundation is a local foundation created by and for the people of the City and Regional District of Powell River. We are here to help individuals and groups make an ongoing difference in their community.
Established in 2001, the Powell River Community Foundation is one of more than 178 community foundations in Canada today. We serve the geographic area of School District 47, offering people a variety of ways to make a difference in our community through philanthropic giving. Since 2001, the Foundation has granted over a quarter of a million dollars to local charities.
